What you own after the build
Everything we build for your process is yours. That covers the agents, the automations around them and the way they're set up for your team. Your data is yours before, during and after the work, and it stays yours if you leave.
Our site says it in one line: no lock-in, you own everything we build. In practice that means three things.
- The build. The agent and the automations made for your workflow belong to you once they're built.
- Your data. The files, records and notes the system works on were yours to begin with. They don't become ours because an agent reads them, and we don't reuse one client's data for another client.
- The decision about what happens next. Once it's built you choose whether to keep it running with us, take it over, or stop. Nothing is locked in.

We keep our general tools, set-up and know-how, the parts we reuse across clients, the same way a builder keeps their own tools after the house is finished. Everything shaped around your process stays with you.

What happens while you keep using it
AI agents don't run untouched forever. The tools they plug into change, a login expires, a form gets a new field, a provider updates how it works. When that happens, something stops, and someone has to notice and fix it.
So if we host the build and you keep it with us, there's a monthly hosting and maintenance fee. Hosting runs on BizElevate-managed infrastructure. Maintenance means we keep everything we built running. When a tool the build depends on changes, we adjust the build so it keeps doing the agreed job.
The optional monthly retainer can also cover new automations built as we go and help for your team day to day, with the deliverables agreed each month. Adding a second process after the first one works is normal.
What if an AI tool behind it changes or stops
Our builds aren't tied to one AI tool. If one changes or stops, the build can be moved to another. We tell you first, and nothing switches without your go-ahead.
What happens if you stop working with us
You can stop, and you keep what we built. What happens next depends on where the build runs.
- We host it and you want to keep it with us. There's a monthly hosting and maintenance fee.
- Your contract already has it on your own server. We work inside your environment, so there's no hosting or maintenance fee.
- You want it moved to your side later. We quote a one-time migration for that move, and we hand the build over properly to the people who'll run it.
Your data stays yours either way, and the exact terms go in writing before work starts. If a provider can't tell you in writing what leaving looks like, treat that as your answer.
What to ask any provider before you sign
These questions work with any agency or freelancer, not only us. Ask them before the build starts, while you still have the most say.
- Who owns the agents and automations built for us, and which parts do you keep?
- Is our data ours, and can we get all of it out if we leave?
- What does it cost to keep the build running, and what does that cover?
- If we stop, how do you hand it over, and what would moving it to our side involve?
